Default Ball Joints

Well, rather than farm out this job, my buddy's 94 Mark III (or IV, I can never remember) F150 needs new ball joints, and I'd like to save him some money and try and do it ourselves
How hard is this, and what tools will we need?

One of these presses makes getting the joints out & in a lot easier too. They can be rented at AutoZone

for a bronco, but its a great writeup and things from broncos carry over to f150s as well.
