I have a 87 2wd and I am planning on ordering wheels from summit racing. I'm not 100% sure on the backspacing tho. What do you all think if I got 15x7's with 3.75 back space on the front and 15x10's with 4 inch rear back space? I want the wheels to be even or level with the fender. Thanks in advance

 

I know fatter tires in the back is a look some people prefer/go for, but... just remember that it means you won't be able to rotate your tires. You could switch sides but that won't really help. If you want to get the most mileage out of your tires they should be rotated.

This is just my opinion so feel free to ignore it.

That does make good sense. I'm not entirely decided on the wheel diameter yet. I may just get 4 15x8's. Idk yet. I'm just wanting opinions and suggestions. I really want my tires to fill the fender/be even with it, no matter the diameter lol thanks for the info tho!

 

Why would you want your front tire sticking out more than the rear? But yes 15x10 3.75 backspacing would look nice but if your looking to be completely even then 4" backspaceing will do and there are much more wheel options at 4" backspacing.

 

Well, I don't want the front tires sticking out wider. Im not sure how to measure and calculate backspace and stuff. All I want is to make the tires fill the fenders like they do on fast n loud. The fronts fill the fender good from the factory but the rear isn't even close

 

I just found a set of cragar wheels on summit and the rear wheels are 15x10 with 3.75 backspace and the fronts are 15x7 or I can get 8 with 3.75 backspace. How would these look?
