have you tried turning it down? and not being an *** while driving around town blasting music no one wants to listen to? I got to say I moved Specifically to get away from people that blast there music driving around its a really big pet peeve of mine. SO much so I have Peaked and tuned my Cb enough i now can come over on there systems

Some rubber stripping should fix it..though.

 

It shouldn't be no more of a nuisance to you than someone on a Harley or another vehicle that has an extremely loud exhaust. And if you moved to get away from people like that you really need to evaluate your living situation. I'm not an *** I turn it down in busy places and at busy stop lights. So don't throw something off on me just because other people have done what you think I do.

 

Trust me those are just as annoying, there is a massive difference between a loud sound system and a loud exhaust. But forget about that for a second. The main thing is why do you need to have it so loud? Why not have a good sound system? My truck has an amazing sound system in it. But I don't crank the radio so everyone can hear it now do i? There is no need for a sound system that loud it distracts the driver in impaires there hearing. As for me moving I moved because my negboors where asses blasting there radio 2 in the morning having party's doing stupid **** for attention like driving around with there radio blaring swear words. It's just a cry for attention blasting music like that, do your self a favor and upgrade to a good sound system not a loud one. I also would like to add every civic around here with a fart can is in nessasry just as a motor cycle with loud exhaust it's just a cry for attention hey look at me I'm loud! It's just stupid, some people value there hearing or at least what's left of mine anyways.

 

Have to agree here. I've never heard anyone listen to rap at regular volume, either. Why? Because it's terrible. I think it's sole purpose is to instigate fights with people who get fed up with it. I can also attest that after a certain volume, no matter how good a system is, it sounds like garbage. But people who listen to systems at that volume aren't concerned with sound quality. They're just concerned with how far away people can hear them and trying to impress other dumb people when they sit in it and get "thumped".

This is all, of course, just my humble opinion.

 

My sound system sounds amazing too. My mids and highs are not at all drowned out by the bass. You can be loud and sound good but like I said I bump my system with courtesy.

 

Put some type of thick foam, in between the cab and the bed. That ought to cut down on the rattling, quite a bit.

 

I thought about adding tennis ***** I've seen people do that a lot when they have lots of flex

Your ranting is unwarranted and is of no value to the OP. If you dislike people with loud music as much as I hate trucks with loud exhausts, you need to move over to the political arena (instead of being a keyboard warrior) and actually do something about it. Your ranting here won't change a thing.

In case you forgot or never knew this, the purpose of this forum is for advice and how to's with regard to truck repairs, customizations and upgrades. It is not a sounding board for your personal problems (which this clearly is).
