While decoding my door tag, I see have a cdoe 18 for axle..Which in a 3.08 Non-LS..

Does a 94 have an 8.8?? If so, is it a 28 or 31 spline?? If 28 spline ,I can get a stock 8.8 diff from a mustang, so I can have limited slip..

Yup. Get a good Auburn locker or buy a new Ford traclok

 

there are 31 spline Trac Loks all over ebay. You can snag one for cheap and rebuild it....from there, you have a few options, standard rebuild or doublepack the clutches for a stronger diff or run the clutch pack kit from the 03/04 Cobra, the plates are carbon fiber.

 

So are the ones in the new GT's and they are 31 splined.

I just got this truck less than a week ago, and already started my wish list and plan of attack.. And I thought selling my 97GT mustang would give me more time for my other hot rod(84 Mustang). Tell ya though I want to fix the truck up as much as I do my mustangs..LOL
