I like my kickers that are in the doors, nice bass and still hit all the highs, for the back, I have sony xplods, but I DO NOT recommend them. I like the infinity 5X7 speakers in the back, or 5X7 Rockford Punch.

Anyone use Kenwood these days? I used to use Kenwood back in the day...don't honestly know if it's still any good or not.

I originally put some Kenwood and Pioneer speakers in my truck, but decided to upgrade, since they were cheap. I purchased my new ones from a custom audio shop down the road. The owner said Kenwood makes the best head units, in his opinion. Like I said...I got a cheap head unit. It works fine. Not crazy about the menu interface, though. I liked the Pioneer I put in my old dodge truck a couple yrs ago. Even sounded decent with no amp.

I got a Kenwood head unit to replace the old AM/FM radio that was OEM in mine.
For speakers I decided to use 6.5" Pioneer marine speakers due to the high humidity we get here in S. FL. I've had them for 2 or 3 years now with no issues at all.

I use this in my truck. Just plug it into a power outlet or lighter and tune the radio station to the frequency it is set for and it will play your ipod, mp3 player, or whatever you want to use, and it is cheaper than a head unit.

My cassette player broke so im using an fm transmitter on my mercedes. Personally I think the cassette adapter option sounds way better. I dont know how other fm transmitters are but living in houston area its hard to find open stations and when i do find one its got static.

FM transmitter< Cassette Adapter< Head unit with auxillary or bluetooth

I run 2 kenwood excelon 12 inch subs in my truck. My friend's mom has a car audio store. We can test out any speaker sub headunit combination and see what we like. The JL audio 8'' dual subs can easily out do any 12 inch subwoofer, and they fit nicely behind the seat

Excuse my ignorance, but what are "power bass" subs? I'm really wanting to add 8" subs at some point, but not sure what to get.
