What's up guys. Truck is a 90 f150 5.0 AOD trans. A while back it lost overdrive while I was driving. When it shifts into overdrive it just neutrals out and just revs up when you push the gas. The trans shifts fine from 1st to 3rd and has never slipped. It has 235/75 r15 tires and 3.55 gears and the cruise rpm at 60 mph is 2500 in 3rd gear. So I'd like to get this trans rebuilt or buy a used one, what do y'all recommend? Also what is the average cost to get one rebuilt?
