I have a 91 f150, 5.0l with an auto AOD transmission. the truck idles smooth but as soon as I put it in gear it stalls out, even if i give it gas. Just days before it started jumping/lurching when put in gear.

I was told my lock up switch is bad, but I don't recall the aod having a lock up switch. Im assuming its the torque converter but wanted to hear some opinions before i start taking it apart.

any advice would be appreciated.
