89 302 Bronco
The bolt by #8 smelled like gas.

Good. The top of the lower intake was caked in oil. I was also concerned with the gasket being a bit blown out by #8 bolt and smelling of gas.

I shudder to think of what mine might look like. I bought a dead junkie's 95 5.0, tons of oil blow by caused by a blocked/blown out cat. Not looking forward to rebuilding the top end.

So under the covers one side is nice and clean. Passenger side is all black. Is this an indication of any thing? Something bad I'm sure.
