What gears do ya run? I wanna squeeze 33's on my 250 ttb, I'd go 35's but my gears are 3.55 I feel it would screw everything on my truck.

I also have the 3.55s on my 250 ttb, I'm currently running 33" mud terrain and was hoping by jumping to 35s I could gain some faster highway speed at a lower rpm and still get about the same mpg, I have the 7.3 so I don't think the engine would notice turning the 35s compared to 33s all the much on the highway, I'm sure I'll feel a little difference in the city.

How's the odo read going up to 33's? Let me know how 35's go for you I just rather not stress the drive train.

I've got a 460 (7.5) so you've definitely got me beat on mpgs.

i have 3.55s right now and no lack of power, can still spin the 35s. and with a 4" lift i rub my leaf springs at full lock. from 33s-35s i was off around 2 mph.

How do you tell what gear ratio you have. I have 94 4.9 with the 8ft bed if anyone can tell with that info.

axle code on your door jamb sticker, there are also tags on each dif that has your gear ratio.

should be a 2 digit, like 19 or H9. post it here and we can tell you what you got.

Lost how many mpgs on 33's?

Then again you have a lift, I've considered one but stock height just looks badass to me, along with a ttb front end.
