so tomorrow im hoping to start replacing the dreaded shackles on my truck, and instead of searching for every thread about it and trying to find out what tools i need, i figured id make a be all end all for my questions about this and for future questions. so what do i need to get the rivets off the frame and anything else i might need? air tools are out cause i dont have a compressor.

 

4in. hand grinder for starters. and also a welding blanket from Harbor Frieght, to place between the frame and gas tank(explosions suck).and lots of "Bolt Blaster" penitrating spray!! 13/16 or 21 mm wrench/sockets and and some big arms(since no compressor) and lots of luck........
