Default another horn question

well i was hoping the other person that had a question about the horn had the same problem but it isn't, my problem is that when i push the steering column for the horn all that happens is a clicking noise that sounds like its coming from behind the dash on the passenger side. Any thoughts? Mine is an 89 by the way

Sounds like your horn itself might be either unhooked or broken, the clicking is caused from the relay switching on and off. Check your horns to see if they are connected, if they are unhook the connection and have a partner press the switch to see if the wire has power. If the wire has power hook a jumper up to the horn and touch the other end to the positive post on the battery, more than likely this will not do anything because the horn is bad but sometimes there is a loose connection at the plug. If the wire does not have power start checking fuses and fusible links. The horn button an relay have power so the main power to the horn relay is bad.
