This is a bit of a jackleg method, but the way I set my MLPS was to put the truck in reverse and played with the setting on the MLPS until I saw the reverse light reflection on my garage door, held it and locked it down. If you don't have a garage, see if you can get a helper to let you know.

After driving it a few times it seems that my hard shifts are gone. I'm going to add a transmission cooler to help with any other future problems since I already have it.
