1995 Ford F-150 XLT 4.9L 300cc

Hi all. So my air bag light has been flashing the code 35 for sometime now. I understand that code 35 (triple flash, pause, five flashes) means the passenger side airbag has a shorted circuit or one with low resistance. My question is, how can this be an issue when I don't even have a passenger side air bag...

 

I am guessing they mean the airbag crash sensor thingy?

On my 94 standard cab, you can get to it by removing the rear passenger speaker.
