Default AC Issue

I recently replaced the heater core on my 87 F150 and now I don't have any AC, it blows out hot. The AC worked prior to replacing the heater core. Any help is appreciated. I am not a mechanic but I can following directions and instructions pretty well.

Does the compressor clutch engage? With the engine idling & A/C set to MAX, look at the center of the compressor pulley - is it spinning?

Flip the glovebox down & look at the temperature blend door cable - is it still connected to the blend door lever & clamped in the clip on the box? Is it adjusted in that clip properly? Click this & read the caption:

I will check the cable to make sure that it has not come disconneted. Ben Parker mentioned the same thing to me. I work with Ben.
