Hi just recently my truck went in the shop for a head gasket and came back and the ac doesnt work. now right before i put it in the shop i just flushed and refilled the free-on so i know its got that. When i turn the **** it makes the noise but no air comes out. air does come out the defrost vent however. What could the problem be, or what could i check to diagnose the problem?

 

most likely a vacuum line not put back where it belongs or not connected, look toward the back of the intake area along the firewall

 

could be blend doors are bad. there is always coolant running through the heater core even when your heat isn't on. so in order to have cold air and not heat come out when you turn on your ac it has blend doors that close off the heating ducts so you get cool air. the blend doors operations could be bad. don't know much about them. just a thought.

 

Why not drive back to the shop that did your head gasket and have them fix it...
