The door that controls the dash/defrost moves to defrost with higher rmps. i am pretty sure its a vacuum leak somewhere. but what i dont know is what line controls that and where that door is exactly or what to look for. any help would be appreciated. thanks

yeah that white line was broken but isnt anymore, i guess i will have to tear the dash apart and try to find the leak, i hate dealing with vac lines, they arent easy to find leaks as other type hoses...

Your engine loses vacuum at higher RPMs. Find yourself a vacuum check-valve, install it where that white line used to be that you've replaced and should be golden.

found one at oreillys.com where would i install said valve. I am familar how they work, i attended college to be an aircraft mechanic, long story short, ran out of money, got a job to take final tests to get my license, worked nights 60-80 hrs a week, ran out of time, got married...
