Default ABS Light on???

I have a '93 4x4 and just the other day I was driving at about 40 mph and it "jumped" or "Jolted" and now the ABS and Parking brake light are on constantly. I believe the truck just has rear ABS. What would cause this?? Thanks in Advance

Why did it jump or jolt if it was a internal axle problem then the sensor might have been fried. If it was road conditions it might suffer from the broken wire problem. Do you still have the speedometer. Did one of the rear brake assemblies come apart trashing the wheel cylinder and draining the fluid from the master cylinder.

Nothing is broke. Everything seems to working just fine. I don't know why it "jolted". I was cruising at a constant speed. Spedo works just fine. Parking brake works just fine. Am I correct that it only has RABS?? I guess I need to pull the rear tires and take a look at the brake system. There is a lack of ambition to tear into this, because it has been 110 degrees lately and no shade to do the work.
