Default 96 F-150 potential problems

Hi Guys,

I need some advice on a couple things that are a bit troubling about my 96 F-150 4.9L, 5 peed, I6, 4x4.
1.) I've recently started hearing a scraping sound sometimes when trying to take off in first. It's also accompanied by somewhat of a slow takeoff.
2.) Sometimes when I sink the clutch to go from 1st to 2nd, it feels like the whole transmission shakes. It doesn't happen when going between 2nd to 3rd etc.
3.) I've also noticed that if I start up in the morning and don't let the truck warm up for a few minutes that going into first gear is really stiff.

Any ideas what these are related to? I've seen several posts indicating tranny flushes for alot of things. Is that something that might be needed here? The last time I checked my clutch master cylinder the level was normal, so I'm not quite sure where I should be headed next.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking about the mounts as far as the the shaking when going from 1st to 2nd. Haven't changed them since getting the truck last year.

I was afraid to hear it but kinda expected someone to suggest clutch, plate and release bearing. I haven't done anything since I got the truck last June besides oil change, tuneup, brake job and shifter bushings. Also had to replace a broken clutch pushrod. Otherwise, truck is great. Engine runs great at 260K plus miles. Need to work on fuel efficiency now too.

Guess I'll start looking for a good shop to do that. Don't wanna mess with that myself.

Thanks for the input guys.

If the mounts are in good shape, leave em alone. Jump on the Seafoam band wagon! Don't be the last one on your block! Wont help a pooched clutch though.
