i installed a rough country leveling kit (set of springs)...no complaints. I think it's worth replacing the springs and not just putting a spacer in. The springs on these trucks are know for deteriorating and sagging over time.

I still need to get my alignment done. The local "sear" quoted me $250 to remove and replace camber bushing and complete the alignment. That was a hard number to swallow coincedering the camber bushing only cost $60 for a set... and hell, for another $200 I could replace both upper and lower balljoints while I'm in there... I just need to get off my rear end and getrdun

i am running 2" skyjacker heavy duty level springs and it didnt level it out, so i threw on 2" pro comp spacers and that leveled it out, and i was able to squeeze 33s in there

but 2" wasnt enough to level suprisingly
it took 4" to level, well for me at least, i was surprised and even the shop was surprised 2" didnt level it completely
and i have a 95 XL as well and its a 4x2

I heard that the only way to get a lift would be replacing the I beams completely, the 2wd had different I beams of the 4wd of the same year, it broke my heart when the body shop told me that the new I beams were more expensive than the entire lift labor and everything lol

Yeahhhhhhhh no... You just need adjustable camber bushings and you're fine. I have a 2.5 inch level and I'm fine with my bushings

thats a lie i believe, there are drop brackets for the i beams that just drops them down, that's it. unless your i beams are just rusted cracked or whatever. that is all you will need.

Rough country sells a 4" kit for $470 and a 6" kit for $500 complete with everything you need. For a few bucks more you can add longer shocks. Pro-Comp, Sky Jacker and Superlift all sell similar kits. Bolt them on and wheel over to the alignment shop.
