Solenoids aren't that exspensive if I recall I in fact have a spare arround here somewhere that's new. If I find it ill see if I can send a fellow ford a welcome to the forum present lol id try cables tho first. Always eliminate the least exspensive parts first. You would be surprised on how much the little things matter.
