So as the title states our 95 the reverse lights quit working. Installed new bulbs yesterday. The lights did flash once a little bit when going from reverse to park. I assume a connector is possibly dirty, but where is it?

 

Connector is left side of the box near the frame. Could also be the switch on the side of the trans.

 

My backup lights would not work either. Put in new bulbs and still nothing. Someone posted in the forum about testing the backup light switch. It's located on the transmission. It's a red switch that you can easily see when you crawl under the pickup. I bought a new one at Auto Zone for $13 or $14 and it resolved my issue. Backup lights working well now
