Smile 95 300 i6 questions on a muffler for good sound

hey guys i have a 95 300 straight 6 and i want to upgrade the exhaust and try to get a meatier, louder, more aggressive sound out of it but without getting the popping and tractory noise. Anyone have suggestions for a good muffler option?

I'm running mine straight off the resonator (till I get my new rolling chassis). Sounds good, nice and deep...

Both cats still in, no exhaust with the exhaust dumped out the side just at the rear of the cab.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal everywhere. But that's how mine is too, just dumped since I haven't finished the setup yet. Not loud at all but it is deeper

Its illegal anywhere, but its not so loud that It bothers anyone. So who is gonna complain and look under my truck

Most cops around here who own street and rad rods run some pretty questionable mods

Mine is straight piped to the muffler and its dumped behind the cab. It sounds nice and deep. Oh it's a SI SO flowmaster 40. I'm getting a cheap tractor muffler just to see how it sounds lol.
