Default 94 Won't start

Hello all, I am new to this forum, I found it in the hope of getting some help. My 1994 F150, 302ci 4X4, has decided that it doesn't want to start. And the bad part is that I am probably the one that caused the problem, by dumping some old gas into it. I had 1&1/2 to 2 gallons of old gas that I had drained out of my generator that I put in the truck. It had about 1/2 a tank already in in , and I have since added 6 gallons of fresh gas to it, the last 4 gallons being 93 octane with octane booster and gas treatment added. After I put the old gas in it, I started it and it ran for about 5 seconds and cut off. Killed an Optima Red battery trying to start it. Put a fuel filter on it and filled up a 20 oz. drink bottle off of the new filter, so I don't think it's the pump. Cut the hose off of an old tire pump, hooked it to the valve on the fuel injector rail and got some nasty stuff out of it, but it eventually started running out pretty clear gas. Pulled a couple of plugs, they looked horrible so put a new set in. It will start, at times but runs like crap. Any ideas? I'm trying not to pull the tank, but may have to. Any help is appreciated.

Change the fuel filter....the screen on your fuel pressure regulator could be clogged with crap as well.
