Default 93' Dying when up to operating temp

93' 5.0 single cab long bed with dual tanks
My 93 has an odd problem , it will start and idle fine but whenever it gets up to operating temp , it will sputter and die while driving , it will not restart after only crank and if it does start it doesnt run on all cylinders and dies within a few seconds. If i let the truck cool off it will start right back up , but will die when warm. Check engine light is on , and the battery light is on , run a test with an obd1 scanner and the only code it pulls is 63 , tps sensor, could the tps be the cause of all this ?
sorry for the long post , new to the forum, thanks.

Scanners are NOT reliable on these trucks, so you should return that one for refund ASAP. The proof is that a '93 only uses 3-digit codes, so 63 is not only wrong - it's meaningless for your truck. Read this page, and then read codes using a jumper wire:

You should put ALL the truck's details & history (as much as you know) into your signature so it shows with each post, as this page explains:

Phone apps don't always show signatures, so you may need to switch to a real browser in desktop mode on your phone, or just use a desktop/laptop computer. Put your location in your profile & upload an avatar of the truck. The more pics you post of the truck, engine, wiring, labels, & undercarriage, the more likely we can help you.

Not really - the pumps are cooled by the fuel flowing through them. They only get hot if there's debris in the tank, or they're run dry.

No, the OEM Ford fuel pumps are not known for this at all. When my fuel pumps needed replacement they were the 27 year old originals.
