92 ford ecm problems

My 1992 ford ecm keeps going out, I have replaced two and now this will be the third one. I have the same symptoms fuel pump keeps running and it will not start. Help!

What codes do you get. Do you know about the PCM (ECU) relay that energizes the F/P relay? What are you refering to as an ECM?
