Default 91 f150 oil question

I'm a new owner of a ford f150, went to go change my oil today and I can't seem to find the bolt to drain. What I do see though is a large covering that looks like a pan cover i once saw on a girlfriends honda, am I just looking in the wrong spot or am I in for a hell of a time changing my oil?

I do see something similar to that, but I can't for the life of me see a drain plug. And right behind it, at least what i can get to without a jack is this:

which is the transmission cover, and right in front of it is what you linked. But like i said, for the life of me i can't find the drain plug, maybe its the angle im at and the fact i can't get that far under without a jack.

On an unrelated note, the transmission cover seems to be covered with some oil and grime, not all of it crusted up. Am I to assume that means my rear main seal is screwed? or is it just old tranny fluid?(its a brownish red...cant tell if its slightly used oil or really used tranny fluid) Cause the oil pan looked like it had a bit of fresh leak too(no spots or pools underneath and its been parked about a week).

On my 96 it is on the side of the oil pan at the back and can be seen looking through the passenger wheel well. Hope that helps!!
