i have a 90 f150 straight 6 regular cab that i hit a tree with and its junk but it has many good parts still and i found a 95 f150 with the 5.8 and its a extended cab but the trannys bad will my tranny work in the extened cab even though it came out of a regular cab both trannys are the e40d.

 

It will bolt up, but I don't believe it work work properly. When I was looking for one for my 92 I was told 95+ they changed electronically.
