I have a 1991 f-150 5.0 and when the truck is cold and you tap the pedel truck stalls but cranks right back up,Once the truck gets hot it doesnt stall or hesitate anymore but idles rough.
I have replace plugs,wires,cap and rotor,temp sensor,air charge sensor,fuel filter,air filter.


Any ideas?

 

Yup... do the following. Take of your TB and CLEAN IT til it sparkels. Then take the IAC off of it and clean that until it sparkles (the inside gunked up valves) - then REPLACE your TPS

should run like new after that....

 

check for trouble codes

 

forgot to say that was the first thing i did when it started was clean the tb and i bought brand new iac and tps
