Default 89-F150 problems

Im having trouble with my 89 F-150 5 speed 302, I just got it back from a mechanic fixing my transmission. But I drove my truck all that day and there was no problem, I parked my truck for a sec and when I try to take off my truck would stop almost like I was running into a wall, it would go maybe 2 feet and it would stop again and sling me backwards. I tried a second gear take off but same response. Then I put it in reverse, it will go backwards but a clinking noise came from what seems to be the transfer case. I have no idea what the problem is, does anybody have any idea?

My idea would be to take it straight back to the guy who was working on it. He obviously missed something it would seem.

It's with him now and he thinks it's the parking brake. But it makes no sense. Someone told me to put it in 4 low and back in to 2 wheel drive. After that it would pull foward and not stop but the clinking noise was still there. Could that be because of the parking brake?

Stuck parking brake is a good possibility. Totally unrelated problem to working on the trans.
