My 89 F150 5.0 2wd has a slight miss at idle, every once in a while when its warm it will miss, I put in a fuel filter and plugs about a week ago, cap, rotor and wires have about 20k. My fuel pressure tester is broken at the moment On the freeway it runs great, I drove it 167 miles yesterday and it averaged 18.8 mpg by my tripmeter/gallons.

Any ideas? Fuel pressure regulator?

My 92 351w does the same thing. Very occasionally it'll cough, occasionally almost die, and then go back to a normal idle.
