I have an 88 f-150 with an 8.8 rear. Im wanting to change the drums to disc. At any point is there a 8.8 rear from the factory with disc brakes i can swap on mine? If there is im thinking of checking the local junkyard for the axel tube brackets and calipers. I will just buy the discs, shoes and brake lines new.

i know some of the explorers came factory with 8.8 and discs not sure what year.
