87F150 Transmission
In search for help, looking for a new transmission, the 87 f150 has AOD tranny and I looked up model number but only coming up with mustang transmissions or years for 80-86. Been trying to figure out what bel housing will work along with if I can get the extension and transfer case to bolt on correctly
model is: rf-e3sp-7006
I heard any bell housing matches up no matter what f series it comes from even the motor bc they are all the same rear engine mounting?

Curious as to why you're not looking at rebuilding what you have, to avoid any cross-matching problems?
Towards your specific question, not able to offer help or insight as to what else works or where to get it...

The bell housing patterns are different big block to small block
Both of those are also different from the new modular motors
So, your AOD was only put behind small blocks IIRR
A Mustang or Crown Vic one might work
Call a junkyard and ask them the interchange info
Good luck
I am with you, and think you can get another working trans cheaper than you can rebuild yours
