Default 87 Ford help

Hey guys so my 87 had been having problems lately and I cannot narrow it down. It will start and drive fine, and then sputter out and die. When this happens, the fuel pumps do not prime, all of a sudden, they will prime and you can drive again just fine. This happens at random, I drove it for close to 200 miles before it did it again. It has dual tanks, and neither of the pumps will prime. I replaced the fuel pump relay, it has a new pickup coil/distributor.

Could it be as simple as a fuel filter? But then why would the pumps not prime. How about the High pressure fuel pump (have not had a chance to check pressure yet). Or could it be the PCM or EEC?

Nevermind figured it out! Moderator can get rid of the thread if they want.

The fuel pump relay was not plugged in all the way and a fuel hose/line was loose.
