Default 5.8 rebuild thread

My new project! Came out of an 89 f350 I believe. Guys at the local shop just gave it to me. I spend a lot of time down there and they called me today and said they pulled it out and wanted to give it to me. Anyways.. Here it is.

Nope, look to the right of the pallet... upper intake and throttle body are there. A free 351 is great 351.

yes sir! got all the little goodies with it! love those guys! they pulled it cuz it was burnin oil and was runnin hot and they think thats cuz of a bad head gasket. but hey, it was free.. a good rebuild will fix all that right?

What size bolts do I need to mount the engine to the stand?

I think 7/16-14 bolts will mount it to the stand. Grade 8 preferably.
