Default 5.8 problem

Hey everyone, today when I started driving my truck it was running really rough and was kind of lurching back and fourth. Does this sound like a fuel filter problem?

Well today it's been constant. It's the first time it's happened.

if you are experiencing converter shutter you can push the brake without letting off the gas to test if its the converter. doing this kicks the trans out of overdrive

you can take and spray brake clean or carb clean to check for any vacuum leaks while the engine is running.

did you put any fuel additives in your fuel?

check and make sure your plug wires are good and on

it could be a bad fuel filter but i would do the tests first
