Default 4x4 not working

i have a 1992 f150 with auto hubs, when i put it in 4 wheel the right axel turns but the left does not the tcase engages and the front drive shaft turns, the lights on dash come on, but only thr rear tires spin in mud. can someone help me? forgot to say truck has sat for a year, but 4x4 worked when parked.

it seems like if only one front tire is moving you broke an alxe.

is there anything i can check? if one hub dosent lock would that make the other not pull only the back tires spin even though the front d.shaft and right axel is spinning

Sounds like the hub is not engaging..... If it was me I would change to manual locking hubs.

is it possible the hub is just stuck from sitting and needs cleaning?
