Default 4x4 help

My f150 is a 93 4x4 with manual locking hubs. To the right of the steering wheel are two buttons, on says 4x4 and the other says low range I accidentally hit my 4x4 button and an orange light came on. I hit it again and the orange light got dimmer but wont go away. Since them my truck stalled on me twice any ideas

lock your hubs and drive 10+ feet in both directions, press the button see what happens. try tapping the solenoid on the back too if nothing happens

how low is your idle? scan your codes too, theres a thread at the top of this section of how to retrieve any codes should you have them
