I have 1989 f-150 with a 4.9 5spd 2wd. i was at a scrap yard an they have a 87 model with the same motor an its a 4x4. i think the motor is shot, not to sure. the trucks body is in better shape than mine. i reached in an looked around an the shifter spins all the way around. not sure why? i was wonderin if i could swap my motor in with out swappin the computer? an if the transfer case will hook up to my tranny in the 89? all input is greatly appreciated!!
