the list of what you would not need would be shorter. You will need everything except the frame, motor, body, and rear end.

if your putting it in the shop, then how are you going to get to your job that you dont have?

and weve told you, itll be cheaper to buy a new truck. but if i were you, i would not take this job unless youve done some fabrication work before and actually know what your doing.

Wow boys, the guy just asked a question. and was looking for a little info. if you dont want to help him then dont answer his post. geez

92Custom your looking at a complete overhaul of the front axle, (a royal pain). a Transfer, maybe tranny (not sure). you will need two new driveshafts. shorter for the rear and one for the front. may want to change out the rear end to and check that the gears match so your 4x4 works. you will need to Check to see if your truck has the you outs for your 4x4 shifter on the floor. if not your gona have to install a cut out. not sure on what elect. you will need. maybe none? I would even go as far as taking the Sway bars off the 4x4 parts truck and install them on your truck.
Your Best chance for this project is to buy a parts truck for cheap money or trades. and honestly if i where you i would just do like i said before and move your hole body onto the donor frame. could even get a short box parts truck and then you have the Truck you want! hope this helps. and Dont mind the boys there just a bit cranky tonight or so it seems.

-Way

Maybe you can work out a trade for a short wheel base 4WD. Some don't want or need it and may like something different. I know that I might consider a trade for some cash and a 2wd truck.

As much as I'd love to sell you these parts, Alabama is a bit far to ship this stuff. Buy a donor truck at a local bone yard and strip it. If you must do this conversion this is the way to go as most of the parts are bolt in. Try to find a manual shift t/c to minimize confusion and if you feel the need to go to short bed status, sell your truck and check out craigslist as driveshaft length will be the main difficulty/expense.
