So as the title states, I'm now on my 4th map sensor in my 88. Its possible that the quality of parts is just terrible, but really?

Anyone have any similar experience?

 

I have had parts "bad from stock" both at auto parts stores and at work with aircraft parts but in my experience once you start thinking more than one is bad from stock there is a problem somewhere else. Check the wiring and the connector for condition/corrosion. Maybe just messing with the connector makes it work for a bit leaving you thinking that changing it worked.

 

I have the same issue. changed it twice in a year and its bad again
