I want to run true duals on my 1991 4.9, just trying to think how I'm gonna run my pipes. Anybody already do this and have pics to go off of

 

You might not care but there's a federal level lAw saying that if a truck has true duels that wasn't fActory installed it is illegal to own and or drive, but who cares about that? I would run them either all the back like straights or dump them behind the cab thts what I did I mine but I just deleted the muffler and dumped I after the cats check out my pic

 

You got that right, I plan on running them out the back

 

I had a freind with a 460 with true duels 89 model 4x4 and he had turn outs underneath the back doors

 

How bad was the drone while driving

that deep constant bass sound that rattles everything in the car at certain rpms

 

He drove around with the stereo up so it wasn't bad for him but it did get loud but some more pipe and a tip that has resonation in it would help drown it out, if you take yours back it woul be fine especially on a long bed

 

You can see where mines dumped its very tolerable for me but mines all stock till that dump just 2 cats and the dump
