Got new distributor in today only problem is it didn't come with the shaft in it. Is there anyway to pull old shaft out to place in new distributor?

 

If its how I remember it, you need to take the rotary vane off with 2 screws while holding the shaft which should have an allen key slot on top. Take out the hall sensor and knock out the 2 roll pins at the bottom of the shaft and it should pull out.

Ohh and mark where the washers and gear are clocked on the shaft when putting it back together.
