I need to know what plug wire goes where on the distributor cap.. Long story short it takes almost 2 key turns to start and it acts like it wants to die. I changed the plugs cap and rotor I plugged the plugs into the cap in where they were and it wouldn't go onto the truck so I took a couple off and I think I mixed 2 of them up. A diagram would be nice.. Thanks!

 

Standing in front of the truck looking at the engine, #1 is at about 1:00. Most caps have a #1 on them. Then google 351/302HO firing order.
#1 is the front passenger side.

The easiest way to do it is look for the number 1 on the distributor cap. Follow that pattern counterclockwise with your firing order. The #1 spark plug should line up on that 1. The next one to the left of #1 should go to #3. The next one to the left of #3 will be #7. Continue this and trace the wires. It's much easier than you think.

Edit: And when I say #1, I mean literally. There is a 1 on the distributor cap. That is where the wire that goes to the #1 spark plug goes to.
