Default 31" tires on a 2wd?

Hey guys, I did a bit of research earlier today to see if a 31" tire would clear on my stock '95 2wd. Most of the stuff I found on the internet said they would clear, but I just want to double check.

I found a nice set with decent tread left for $100 that are mounted on stock chrome rims. Thought it was a steal Thanks for you help in advance

i have 265/75/16 on my stock 89 2wd lwb. they come out to like 31.5" and they just barely scrub the edge of the fender when i hit a big bump. im going to install a leveling kit to compensate for that ( and to make it look better)
