Default 302 upgrades

ok my truck is an 87 f series with the 5.0l 302. the truck is a worl truck mainly an the lil 302 has suprised me by far when towing a trailer, or another truck(superduty dumptruck, towing trailer with a mini excavator on top of that) but i was wonder what you would suggest to make the truck have just a lil more traction, or power, or what have you if you were in my situation what would you do, any input would be great

First off do the timing bump that is ever so popular around here. Maybe some electric fans and underdrive pulleys, lower gears, and exhaust.

Default a couple more options

You could lower the gear ratio in the rear end for more traction/towing power but it will use more gas.

gears will help with towing or climbing hills/mud bogging. on the down side you will loose 1-2 miles per gallon. gears are the best bang for your buck. If you want more power you can get cams.
