302 Guys - Whats your MPG?

At 65mph on the highway, I was averaging about 17 to 18. I'm doing a rebuild and I sorta expect that to improve because of the upgrades I'm doing. My goal is 20.
I truly think the secret is probably with side gapping the spark plugs, which is something I didn't do. Everything else I did was with top of the line parts.

Last winter and over the summer I got 12-14 in town, and 17-19 on a 3hr interstate trip several times, trying to baby it for mpg.
Currently rear o2 sensor went bad, so bout 8-10... hopin to get that straightened out soon

My 95, 4x4, reg cab, longbed, 302 with 3:55s gets 13 mpg average. Truck is totally stock, nothing ever replaced(original cats, plugs, everything, think even original tires) except fluids and 42,900 original miles. Is 50/50 Hwy and city driving and not driving it slow(plus area I live in has alot of hills), normally 65-68 on hwy

'95 single cab, short bed. 302 4x4 auto. Headers and exhaust. I get a pretty consistent 12 city and 16 highway. Always cruise at about 65 otherwise my mpg's drop significantly after that.
