My ranger is 2wd, I love dirt trackin with it especially on snow covered roads, my F150 is a little heavier and its not as fun as the ranger, besides the ranger is a stick so I can keep it in the gear I want for better control.

yeah the only thing i don't like about my truck is that it's an auto. i've scared my wife by getting it sideways when it was raining before.. i miss driving in snow somewhat, it makes things more fun.

Snow is the #1 reason I upgraded to a full size truck. I live in GA and we got hammered twice this year, which no one here is used to (I got great practice living in NC during the freeze of 04-05) Everywhere I went someone had slid off in a ditch, I was of no help though because I was in an S-10. Tow companies charge out the *** just to hook up to one. So by next winter, Ima have my receiver hitch and a winch to try and save a few people some dough.
Plus, it's rather demasculating when you have to get shuttled back and forth for three days because your punk *** truck is stuck in it's parking spot @ work
And, I found out the hard way, that an S-10 is less truck than an el camino is. Wasn't worth sh*t! But I love my F150, this beast just won't quit

Great stories guys. There's a buddy of mine thats a strictly 4x4 kind of guy. He says if you buy a truck it's useless with out 4x4. Uhh. So it snows and I take my 2wd baby out in the snow. Throw some old wheels and tires in the back to weigh her down. Hooks up like nothin else. And I get that "great" gas mileage with out that clunky front diff.
