Default 2 questions, 1 thread

Alright guys, I have 2 questions, decided to just be easy and make one thread for them. Here we go:

1. Yesterday, did a little mudding (as in I hit the hole and pulled through it no problems, and drove through a nice deep rut that was real short but bounce me around a good bit. Anyways, shut the truck off after this and now she won't start with the key, I have to use a screw driver to bridge the solenoid while someone turns the key. Is this a bad ignition relay? What would cause this?

2. My 2" coil spacers just came in, and part of the instructions with them is to torque all bolts back to factory specs. I don't know what factory specs are, and would it be bad to just use a normal wrench and tighten the hell out of the bolts? The bolts/nuts in questions would the spring retainer ones(think that's the name), the lower shock bolts, and the sway bar end link bolts.

Don't think it's a relay. I'd look more at the cleanliness and tightness of the connections of everything that's tied in with the solenoid (battery, starter etc) Factory specs? it's drive train parts. I usually set them to the "almost break your arm off" setting.

Alright so check the cleanliness of the solenoid connections and tightness, alright. That makes sense. Where is the starter? I was looking for it, but I honestly don't know what to look for or where

That sounds like the right amount of torque haha

EDIT: Don't know how I missed it yesterday, a wire got yanked off the solenoid sometime yesterday. Problem solved, thanks Flareside Thunder for talking some sense into me

Level kit you can go nuts on tightening everything. Then after you drive it a while re-tighten everything. Especially the spindle adapter mine worked about a 1/2 a turn loose once everything got settled in.
