My front fuel pump went out so i have started to use my rear gas tank. Ever since i have done so my front tank has gas coming out of the gas cap and my truck will sometimes turn off when i come to a stop. I have changed fuel filter and that didnt help any.Any ideas on what the problem is and Any ideas on how to fix the leaking and the shut off?

 

Check valve is bad in the front pump, that is letting fuel backfeed into the front tank from the rear tank. only way to fix it is to replace the front pump or take the lines off and block them off.

On it shutting off I would pull the codes to see if it would give you a place to start. As that could be numerous things fuel, spark, TPS, IAC valve just to name a few.
