Default 1996 Clock Spring

Hello,

I am new to this post so sorry if this has ben mentioned. I cannot find where to buy a clock spring for my 96 f 150. Was this a special year or something?

Can you post a pic? I would think that clocks would have been digital - mine is.

He's talking about the wires for the horn, cruise control in the steering column.

I got mine from rockauto.com. It was a Dorman part I believe.
This is from a post I made on the subject when I did the replacement a while back. Others were having a hard time locating it as well.

"Yeah, its hidden pretty well. Its under body-interior and its called airbag clockspring. It was a pretty easy replacement. "

I had mine done at the dealer about 2 years ago for $125.00 It was recommended to have them do it than to try it yourself...
